Helikon Snowfall Long Gaiters, Pencott WildWood

Gaiters are a godsend in our wet Nordic conditions, if you feel like rubber boots are a thing of the past. The idea of the gaiters is to continue the waterproof protection of the shoe also farther up the leg, so that the comfort of the fighter would not suffer too much in a wet grass, snow or bog. These won’t, however, protect you from full immersion.

The structure of the Helikon gaiters is twofold: the Cordura outer layer is durable and waterproof whereas the mesh fabric inner layer adds breathability into the equation. These gaiters close with Velcro and unintentional rising is eliminated with a stirrup or hook that attaches to one's shoelaces. Or use both at the same time if you like!

Features:

• Elastic top strap that is also used to adjust the fit.
• Front hook that can be used to attach the gaiters to shoelaces and gaiters won't move too much during tactical somersaults etc.
  
• Stirrups are made out of very durable Hypalon and attach to the gaiters with Velcro, so they are adjustable and replaceable.
  
• Length 43 cm, top circumference 42 cm and bottom circumference 48 cm. A pair weighs 291 g, so a single one is around 145 g.
• VersaStretch panel on calf side to give Snowfalls some freedom of moment (for your massive calf muscles that is). Panel also offers some extra breathability.
• These are very waterproof, but given the open end nature of gaiters as a concept, these are not for wading.
