Mil-Tec Chimera High Ankle Boots, Black

Here you have quite a nifty alternative to terrain shoes from Mil-Tec. The Chimera is water-repellent, reinforced and shock absorbing.

Properties

• The outer part of the shoe is made of nylon, rubber and polyurethane (PU).
• Water-repellent Dintex® lining
• The shoe is flexible, easily rolling, and the sole has a good grip. These are nice for both walking and running.
• Reinforced toebox and heel
• The shoe tongue and shaft are generously padded, making the shoes very comfortable and supportive.
• The lacing of the upper part of the shaft is done using hooks, making the shoes quick and easy to put on.
• The insole is removable, antibacterial and made of EVA foam
• The shoes are fairly light for their size. One shoe weighs 475-560 grams.

How to choose the right size?

The size is chosen according to the length of the insole, so that it is approximately 5-10 mm longer than the foot. This way the shoe will be have the correct margin for use.

The foot can be measured with a pen and a piece of paper:

1. Set the paper next to a wall.
2. Set your foot on top of the paper.
3. Draw a horizontal line at the point of the toe that reaches the furthest.
4. Measure the distance from the line to the wall-side edge of the paper.
5. Add 5-10 mm to the length, and you have the right size for the length of the insole.
6. Select the size closest to your result.
