The Nuprol Premium 1.0 is designed to be used in regular temperature conditions (10 – 25°C). The output is somewhere between regular Green Gas and the so-called Tokyo Marui gas, so it is safe to be used in pretty much any replica in hot and humid conditions as well. The thrust of the gas has been optimized so that the changes in muzzle velocity are as small as possible between shots. The gas bottle has a metal nozzle and a cap that protects it from hits during transport.
Note! The manufacturer recommends that you let the gas settle in the magazine before use – thus ensuring best possible performance!
In airsoft, it has become a custom to state the gas bottle volumes according to the volume of the whole bottle in milliliters. The amount of the gas itself in the bottles is always smaller than the volume of the bottle. Check the volume of the bottle and the amount of gas in the product description.
Gas | Temperature range | Recommended use cases | PSI |
Nuprol 1.0 | 10 - 25 °C | Guns with plastic slides, hot weather | 115 |
ProTechGuns Green Gas | +3 - ~30 °C | Guns with metal slides. Plastic slides with exceptions. Normal weather. | 145 |
Nuprol 3.0 | 3 - 10 °C | Guns with metal slides, cool weather | 175 |
Nuprol 4.0 | 3 - 20 °C | Demanding use, TAG launchers, GBB rifles | 200 |
ASG CO2 Cartridge | 0 - ~30 °C | CO2 guns, demanding use | 240* |
Note! Pressure readings are for reference, ambient temperature will affect the actual output. By rule of thumb, all gases can be used in all temperature conditions as long the gun cycles properly and the gun doesn't overshoot in the chrono.
* CO2 capsules have a nominal pressure of around 850-900 PSI, but due to physics it behaves differently compared to green gas and its derivatives. The gun in question and its internals influence heavily on the actual output power!
