TDC style chambers like the Action Army and AirsoftPro, are all fine and dandy, but adjusting them is not as fast as with stock chambers. For example, when you’re shooting in a steep up or downhill, a hop that has been “perfectly” adjusted might fail you and it would be very useful to have a chamber with a lever that is easily accessible.
The Maple Leaf chamber is made entirely out of aluminum, so the stock chamber problems are not an issue even though it has borrowed its design mostly from the original VSR chambers. The plastic parts of the stock chambers usually give out in time and the BBs start to swerve to the right. In the Maple Leaf chambers this specific fault has been corrected by manufacturing all the parts from aluminum so that there is no room for bending. The chamber is equipped with the excellent Maple Leaf lever so that the contact surface is long and curved. This is especially useful when shooting heavier BBs!
The chamber uses a barrel meant for VSR series and hop-up bucking for VSR. Which means you can use familiar and functional VSR series buckings with the chamber!
As an extra note we should mention that in G-Spec style VSRs the lever is extremely tight because of the thicker barrel.
