Bayonet Storm R Battle Belt with 18kN Cobra Buckle, D-Ring and Under Belt (45mm), Ranger Green

Bayonet's Storm R belt combines the best aspects of a regular belt and a battle belt: a MOLLE/PALS matrix is sewn to the outside to allow for attaching pouches. The R in the name stands for Reversed compared to the previous Storm, which has a loop velcro surface on the inside, while this R model has a hook velcro surface on the inside. PALS loops are made of webbing, so they are very durable: according to the manufacturer's tests, a single loop can withstand 20 kilos of weight! The loops are cleverly made: there is a half loop at the top and bottom of the belt, so that there is a full-sized gap in the middle for the loop on the pouch. In this way, the pouch is firmly attached and slightly higher than usual, so it does not hang annoyingly and the mouth is easily accessible. An excellent base for even heavier belt kits!

The matrix can also be used to position non-PALS pouches by adding a little creativity.

Features:

• Hook velcro on the inside - attaches to the included loop underbelt (or hooked under belt by crafting loop-loop adapters to go in between) so the belt won't move around. Thus, for example, the Templar's Gear under belt is a suitable companion if you want a separate under belt for each pair of pants.
• Strong Cobra buckle, breaking strength 18 kilonewtons. In some belts the buckle may read 15kN, but AustriAlpin has stated that the durability is considerably more! The locking system opens only when both latches are pressed open.
• The size of the PALS matrix depends on the size of the belt: M-size 17 x 2, L-size 19 x 2 and XL-size 22 x 2. As a result of the adjustment system, the loops are slightly concentrated on one side and the rear sector.
• Belt width 45 mm. The belt has an extremely sturdy construction, so the pistol holsters and pouches stay in place without tomfoolery. The stiffness is achieved 100% with just the webbing, i.e. there is no plastic stiffener in between, which could break the stitches. Very durable! The total breaking strength of the webbing structure is about 400 kilograms.
• Tight tidying option: the product comes with a loop that can be opened with velcro, with which the excess can be rolled and hemmed out of the way without covering a large section of the PALS/MOLLE loops.
• The materials are sturdy webbing and Velcro. The M size of the Storm R weighs 345 g, the L size 370 g and the XL size 395 g. The under belt has a weight of 70 g in size M, 75 g in size L and 85 g in size XL.
