Equipped with 3x magnification, the magnifier is designed for use with assault rifles and with red dot sights at longer distances. Compared to the other popular option, Short Dot/LPVO rifle scope, magnifier gives the user option to take it totally off when not needed. Red dot + magnifier combo is also often lighter than a rifle scope. The magnifier can be moved rapidly to the side, allowing you to switch back and forth from a non-magnified red dot sight to 3x magnification. As the name suggest this product is optimized for Vectors Maverick sights, but you can of course use it with any other red dot just as well! This also little bit more slender than most other models, so it won't obstruct that much when not in use.
Vector Optics' tactical magnifier is a smart and simple solution. It has both windage & elevation adjustments, and with the help of them, it can be used with sights where the center lines are not completely aligned with the magnifier. The tube is covered with a thick rubber protector, which shields it from blows and enlarges its size a little bit, thus making it easier to handle, without adding its weight. The magnifier’s view is crystal clear.
The magnifier fits a standard 20mm rail, like Picatinny, Weaver or NATO Accessory Rail.
Note! The lenses of magnifiers will not always withstand a hit from a BB. You can use e.g. lens covers which are meant for other sights, with the magnifiers as well.
Sunclear Tac Vector Optics, or Vector Optics for short, is a company which manufactures optical sights, sight mounts, flashlights and other accessories for firearms. Most of the products are made from aluminum and are both shockproof and waterproof. The sights can handle recoil (for example, 5.56×45 and 7.62×51 mm) which means that they won’t adjust on their own because of the recoil or small blows in the ground. Furthermore, the tube-shaped red dot sights and scopes have been filled with nitrogen which prevents the lenses from fogging up on the inside.
