KRYTAC Trident Mk. II PDW-M 7", Black

Krytac

KRYTAC is an American company which was established by airsoft professionals. The company’s main objective is to manufacture the best quality guns with excellent features. The manufacturer’s first guns were part of the Trident series, which was designed to take place as the best AR-15 series AEG. The KRYTAC guns are equipped with so many recent airsoft innovations that even the most hardened and experienced airsoft player will grin when reading through the list of features.

Trident Mk. II

The Mk. II update brings new, even better features and small improvements to the Trident series. On the inside there is a 30K high torque motor, otherwise the insides have not changed that much, because the changes weren’t necessary! On the outside, however, the manufacturer has concentrated on ergonomics and appearance. The pistol grip has been switched to a better designed and licensed Defiance grip and the trigger is a CMC licensed speed trigger. The most obvious difference is the new, fierce-looking, so called “billet” receiver, which has machined details and smart design.

  • 7 inch M-LOCK handguard (KRISS TR213 licensed)
  • Ergonomic Mk. II pistol grip and CNC speed trigger
  • Aluminum “billet” body with machined details
  • MOSFET installed (IRLB3034)
  • Quick Spring Change (QSC)
  • 18.73:1 gears
  • Rotary hop-up with over 50 adjustments that lock into place
  • Lockable imitation bolt, which makes the hop-up adjustment easier
  • The angle of engagement has been adjusted with a sorbo pad on the cylinder head.
  • Ambidextrous selector switch
  • The gearbox has a reinforced design (the radiusing has already been done)
  • 30,000 rpm KRYTAC high torque motor
  • KRYTAC stock makes it possible to use several different shaped batteries

Trident PDW (Personal Defence Weapon) is the shortest in the series and it is intended for an environment, where you need to squeeze in tight places. 7 inch M-LOCK rail allows you to install several accessories wherever you want on the rail.

Tested compatibilities:

The following magazines have been proven to feed in Krytacs. Other magazines have not been tested but according to this chart most magazines on the market will feed!

What on earth is AR? (history of the firearm)

AR-10, aka "ArmaLite Rifle-10", is a military rifle designed at the end of 1950s. It was originally designed by ArmaLite and uses 7.62 mm cartridges. It was the forerunner of the world-famous M16 rifle which uses a 5.56×45 mm cartridge and is designed by Colt (the civilian version is called AR-15). The AR series’ guns are often referred to as Colt or M4/M16.

Good ergonomics and light aluminum body made the M16 rifle a very good gun and hundreds of variants of the gun have been made this far. After the invention of the Picatinny rail, a removable carrying handle and/or sight mount has been added to practically all M4/M16 series’ guns. Since the introduction of the picatinny rail, the number of accessories has also grown exponentially which can also be seen in the huge number of spare parts meant for airsoft guns as well.

Remember to get a suitable battery and charger

Battery and charger are not included with this gun. To make sure the warranty of your gun is valid, you may use 7.4V LiPo/Li-Ion or 8.4V and 9.6V NiCd/NiMH batteries with a maximum capacity of 3100mAh. Using a battery with a higher nominal voltage or capacity voids the warranty.

Are you not sure which battery fits in your gun? Check the nickel battery compatibility table in Tradetech.

Each gun individually tested by us:

The functionality of all our guns is tested and the muzzle velocity measured before shipping. The velocity is measured with a 0.20 g BB and the final muzzle velocity is calculated from the average of five (5) shots. In fact, the muzzle velocities you see in our online shop are approximations reported by the supplier or manufacturer. Thus, the actual muzzle velocity of your gun may differ from the approximation upwards or downwards. However, we always mark the final muzzle velocity on the maintenance and user manual provided with the gun.
