The Hi-Capa is originally a Tokyo Marui manufactured gas blowback pistol (GBB). The pistol isn’t a straight copy of a real firearm, but it does vaguely resemble the Colt M1911 pistol, which has been designed based on the real gun. The name itself refers to a big double-stack magazine, which holds around 30 rounds depending on the manufacturer.
Equipped with a fierce angled slide, this gun sits very well in hand and is very comfortable to use. On top of all that, the gun is mainly compatible with Tokyo Marui, which means that spare and upgrade parts are widely available!
Magazine compatibility
With reservations, WE is compatible with KJ Works Hi-Capa (KP-05 and KP-06) green gas magazines. The magazines or the pistol’s magwell require little sanding, because the magazine’s plastic base plate prevents the magazine from going deep enough and it doesn’t lock. Without the base plate, the magazine works well. By filing the base plate thinner or filing the magwell, you can fit KJW magazines in this gun as well! The KJW CO2 magazines aren’t directly compatible, because their output valves are too short, which prevents enough gas getting out for the gun to operate when the hammer hits the valve.
The functionality of all our guns is tested and the muzzle velocity measured before shipping. The velocity is measured with a 0.20 g BB and the final muzzle velocity is calculated from the average of five (5) shots. In fact, the muzzle velocities you see in our online shop are approximations reported by the supplier or manufacturer. Thus, the actual muzzle velocity of your gun may differ from the approximation upwards or downwards. However, we always mark the final muzzle velocity on the maintenance and user manual provided with the gun.
