Templar's Gear CPC Plate Carrier with ROC Attachment, Coyote Brown (Crusader Plate Carrier)

For the sharp-eyed: The CPC plate carrier in coyote brown is purposively more expensive than other color and camouflage variants. This is simply due to the extensive availability issues and price changes of plate carriers as a result of the war in Ukraine. Bear with us!

Features in a nutshell:

• Unbelievable lightness: Size M weighs 860 grams and size L weighs 900 grams.
• Manufactured from 500D Cordura
• ROC system buckles
• Possible to use front and back panels. The front panel attachment is compatible with most SwiftClip attachable chest rigs and panels! The panel’s attachment clips are high-quality products from National Moulding. Top side of the front panel attaching area is continuously covered with velcro – panels won’t bag even with a heavy load!
• The possibility to use different types of danglers, which are kind of like fanny packs that 'dangle' below the front plate bag.
• Stiffened cummerbund which is equipped with elastic parts. Pouches can be attached on both sides.

• On the front plate bag of the size L plate carrier there is a 6 × 3.5 PALS matrix for magazines and a 4 × 2.5 PALS matrix for other pouches in the front. In addition, there is a 16 × 4.5 cm velcro panel and a 6 × 5.5 PALS matrix in the back plate bag and above that one more 4 × 1 PALS row.
• Cummerbund has a 4 × 3 or 5 x 3 double sided PALS matrix depending on size. The middle space between PALS rows is also in use making attaching chestrigs as panels easier.
• Shoulder straps have PALS matrices as well, 1 × 2.5 on size M and 1 x 3 on size L. Shoulder pads have loops for securing wires and/or hydration tubes.
• 25 x 30 cm ballistic plates fit the vest very nicely. Considering SAPI/ESAPI -plates, size M fits size M or smaller plates and size L fits size L or smaller plates. If you are looking for plates, we recommend our selection of excellent Protection Group Danmark -plates.

Features at length:

Templar’s Gear CPC is a postmodern, smart and modular plate carrier for the needs of a soldier from the 2010’s. The basis of this plate carrier are the plate bags, which attach to each other with ROC (Rapid Open Connector) clips instead of velcro. Other features of the plate carrier are the attachment points for changeable front and back panels, securing loops with velcro and handy plate bags.

Rapid Open Connectors – divide and conquer

The undisputed advantage of the ROC buckles is a certain positive constancy: the size adjustments won’t change after they have been fixed in place, because the plate carriers attach in the front with buckles that are always connected the same way. The more traditional velcro fastener is always a little differently tightened and the pouches and magazines are often in the way when opening the front flap. When necessary, the wearer can adjust the plate carrier quickly through the hole in the back – even when the back panel is in place! In addition, the omission of the velcro makes the plate carrier narrower in the front, so even with ballistic plates the carrier is not as thick as a more traditional plate carrier.

The other undisputed advantage of the ROC buckles is the speed, especially when removing the carrier. When needed, e.g. if you are in the water or patching up an injured fighter, the plate carrier can be removed in seconds. By opening all the buckles, the front plate bag detaches completely from the back bag, so the plates won’t get tangled around the wearer even by accident, but the whole thing can be dismantled to small, easily manageable units.

Panel On – Panel Off

With the help of the front and back panels the nature of the carrier is easy to change on the fly. You can attach many kinds of assault panel assemblies to the back panel while the front panel has several pouches for different calibers. In any case, it is smart to attach the back pouches on the panel, because the pouches or the panel can then be easily removed if you need to clear your back, for example to use a backpack.

The front panels are attached to the CPC with velcro and Fastex clips. The back panel attaches with appropriately protected zippers and with hardened PALS attachment flaps. According to our user experiences the panel can be attached and detached in under a minute after a small adjustment period. The front panel attachment is compatible with most SwiftClip attachable chest rigs and front panels!

Plate bags – The bearable lightness of being

The plate bags are designed with great attention to detail: the edges of the laser cuttings have been rounded, so that the strain won’t be focused on just one point. In addition, the plate bags themselves have been equipped with 3D patterns on the inside so that the air can circulate. The inside of the plate bags is a little rubbery so that even the smaller plates stay easily in place. The attachment flaps of the plate bags are extra long, so that using a little over sized plates is effortless. On top of all that, you can also hang all kinds of danglers from the plate bags. At the top of the front plate bag there is a velcro panel for patches or e.g. for a radio PTT.

The cummerbund is equipped with elastic parts, so it conforms to the wearer’s movements and doesn’t squeeze too tightly. In addition, there are stiffenings inside so that it distributes the weight more evenly. Its most ingenious feature, however, is the “double” structure: you can attach pouches both inside and outside. You can attach, e.g. an extra side plate pouch or radio pouch on the inside, which will basically always stay stiff and thus won’t affect the portability.

Extended two-year warranty

Templar’s Gear products are granted a two-year warranty. In more concrete manner this means that for example products sold this spring will have warranty for two action packed seasons of airsoft, shooting or whatever you decide to do with them.

The warranty covers all problems that might arise from defective materials or poor craftsmanship. Carelessness or misuse voids the warranty.

Sizing:

There is some play with the measurements because the cummerbund’s elastic part stretches. Make sure to check that the plate bag is not too wide for your body. The plates used in the measurements are about 2.7 cm thick. Plates that are different thickness will affect the fit.
