Helikon MBDU® Flannel Military Uniform Jacket, Ginger Plaid

What to wear, what to wear when you need to be at the range or airsoft game at 12am, lumberjacking at 2pm and on a coffee date at 4pm? Well, the flannel MBDU of course!

MBDU®

MBDU® aka “Modern Battle Dress Uniform” is an excellent envision for a modern field uniform by Helikon. The shirt is a hybrid of more traditional field jackets and combat shirts: lightweight and breathable, but the torso consists mostly of material used in field jackets (or flannel.) The real stunner is found in the armpits and below them: ventilation panels in the armpits and from the armpits to the bottom hem there are approx. 15 cm wide stretch fabric panels!

Features:

• Chest pockets open with zippers. The profile of these pockets is pretty low – the idea being that the user is wearing a combat vest most of the time.
• Sleeve pockets also open with zippers. Inside there are cord loops for attachment. One 9 × 10.5 cm velcro panel on top of each pocket.
• Collar can be worn casually open or it can be buttoned up. The collar is not particularly tall but does nicely protect the neck from slings.
• The shirt is closed with Canadian-style buttons. Thanks to their somewhat large size it’s surprisingly quick to use the buttons and they are easily repaired in the field.
• Ventilation mesh in the armpits and stretch panels reaching down to the bottom of the hem. * The fabric in the stretch panels stretches in four directions and has been given a water repelling treatment!
• Form fitting double-lined elbows.
• Sleeve cuffs adjusted with velcro
• Primary material is flannel, side stretch panels are made from VersaStretch® fabric. The zippers are manufactured by YKK.
• Lightweight: size S weighs 375 g, size M 380 g, size L 410 g, size XL 415 g and size XXL 440 g.

Yes, you read it right. Helikon grants its merchandise a two-year warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and flaws, like abnormal wear or the color fading too quickly. The warranty does not cover normal wear or any breaking or tearing caused by the user.

NB! Measurements are the absolute measurements of the garment! Tolerance for dimensions in the table is ± 2 cm. Choose a size according to what undergarments you feel like you would need to wear under! A handy way to measure fit is to take measurements from one of your garments that fit you well and choosing the size with the measurements closest to it. Chest circumference is measured right below armpits, sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve opening and jacket length at the back from just under the collar to the bottom of the hem.
