The CYMA CM356M is basically a metal-framed Remington 870 series shotgun that has an updated modern Modular Original Equipment style stock and front hand guard! This means that the M-LOCK attachment points on both sides are available for user’s attachment fantasies. With other attachment points you might have to get creative, because there is not enough room between the front hand guard and the gun for nuts.
The gun comes with a fiber optic front sight. In addition, there is a Picatinny rail on top for attaching sights (or anything else that attaches to a rail). Also included is a shell holder that attaches to the side and fits six shells. The shell tube has no function, but you can unscrew it and use it for storage.
Otherwise the 356 is a rather traditional shotgun: sling mounts are on the front under the shell tube and on the back on both sides of the stock, and the safety is located behind the trigger. Length can be adjusted with two spacers. Thanks to the metal receiver, the gun is especially sturdy compared to the more traditional plastic versions!
The shotgun shoots three BBs at a time and it has a fixed hop-up like Marui shotguns. Reloadable shells serve as magazines, and their capacity is 30 rounds. That means you get ten shots of pure joy with just one shell!
The Remington 870 became famous in the 1950s, just like Elvis, and has remained the best-selling shotgun throughout the world. The 870 is somewhat based on the Trench Gun from the First World War, which was a Remington Model-10A. The 10A was somewhat weak and lousy, but through a couple of iterations they came up with the 870, which can be considered the best shotgun in the world.
Thanks to its vast circulation there are plenty of spare parts for the 870. In addition to sport shooters and other civilians, this Remington is also used by many officials including The Finnish Defense Forces.
The functionality of all our guns is tested and the muzzle velocity measured before shipping. The velocity is measured with a 0.20 g BB and the final muzzle velocity is calculated from the average of five (5) shots. In fact, the muzzle velocities you see in our online shop are approximations reported by the supplier or manufacturer. Thus, the actual muzzle velocity of your gun may differ from the approximation upwards or downwards. However, we always mark the final muzzle velocity on the maintenance and user manual provided with the gun.
