The product is placed on the spot of the original rear sight, replacing the rear sight and providing the opportunity to attach an optical sight in the best place. The receiver cover can be steadied in place with locking screw. Fitting seems to be pretty tight with most of the models, so rail shouldn’t wobble that much. This varies between different models. Mounting might require some filing!
The cover is made of steel, and the rail is made of aluminum.
NB! This is not compatible with AKS-74U series of guns (i.e. CM045.)
