The Vector Optics Cantilever mount ring is a durable and smart alternative for riflescopes and tube-model red dots with a diameter of 30 mm. The scope will be slightly elevated from the rail with this mount, so targeting with e.g. M4 series guns will be easier and the front sight will not get in the reticle’s way. By using the adapter pieces included in this package, you can also use smaller optics with a 25.4 mm diameter tube. Note that the optics should be placed onto the mount rings so that both rings can be tightened. The rings' distance from each other is 55 mm.
Due to the QD mounts, they are easy to detach from the rail with a mere flick of the wrist – no tools required! They fit a standard 21 mm Picatinny rail. There is a see through under the ring, which enables you to use iron sights, if the optics are switched off. A clever detail that allows for optimal aiming at different distances.
Sunclear Tac Vector Optics, or Vector Optics for short, is a company which manufactures optical sights, sight mounts, flashlights and other accessories for firearms. Most of the products are made from aluminum and are both shockproof and waterproof. The sights can handle recoil (for example, 5.56×45 and 7.62×51 mm) which means that they won’t adjust on their own because of the recoil or small blows in the ground. Furthermore, the tube-shaped red dot sights and scopes have been filled with nitrogen which prevents the lenses from fogging up on the inside.
