The nylon belt is equipped with the AustriAlpin Cobra FC45 buckle, which withstands direct traction of 9 kN (917 kg). Even if the breaking strength is not your criterion, it is worth noting that the buckle can be adjusted continuously in the blink of an eye, it does not open or adjust accidentally, is easy to use otherwise too, and can withstand even the worst crawling. Helikon has left out extra ratings and jingles from the belt, such as the landing loop, making it one of the cheapest Cobra belts. A superb, if not the best option for a combined pant/tool belt or inner belt of a battle belt!
The width of the belt is approx. 45 mm, or 1.75 inches.
The belt can be shortened enough even to fit a baby and, being made of nylon, the extra can be cut off and the end can be finished by burning with e.g. a lighter.

Yes, you read it right. Helikon grants its merchandise a two-year warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and flaws, like abnormal wear or the color fading too quickly. The warranty does not cover normal wear or any breaking or tearing caused by the user.
