Bollé Raider Ballistic Spectacles with Strap and Temples, Three Lenses and RX Insert, Black

The ballistic Raider glasses have been designed with an eye on soldiers and demanding use. The Raider kit comprises roughly everything you could wish for the safety glasses, and for once people wearing eyeglasses have been taken into account! On top of this, the glasses work nicely also as sporty sunglasses!

The glasses meet the normal safety standards, both in shock-resistance and their optical properties, as well as in UVA/UVB protection.

The STANAG 4296 is NATO’s safety glass standard, which includes, in addition to ballistic safety standard 2920, for example the following requirements: The safety glass must resist a hit of at least 7.51 joules according to circumstances defined by the STANAG 2920. The safety glasses also have to be as light as possible, comfortable and compatible with other protective equipment, and scratching, as well as fogging must be minimal or nonexistent (with the help of good ventilation or coating).

The dark and clear platinum lenses are coated with Bollé long-lasting (if not eternal) platinum to prevent scratching and fogging. The glasses also offer protection against UVA and UVB.

The package includes a clear, yellow and dark Platinum lens, temples and an adjustable strap, an interchangeable foam part, an RX insert, a micro-fibre cleaning cloth and a hard case with micro-fibre lining.
